--Hmmm...a dinner that would surprise your wife. How about a holiday Tofurkey roast (http://www.tofurkey.com/products/tofurkyfeasts.htm)? It's actually quite good.

How about a Kansas city prime rib roast, green beans with small whole potatos(cooked together), dinner rolls, rice and gravy, candle lite, table cloth, fancy napkins with the rings maybe even dimmed lights and some music. The KC prime rib roast is kinda expensive about 50 i think but can use local grocery store or butcher shop roast also what ever floats your boat.
NOTE DO NOT USE YOUR WIFES FANCY CHINA OR SILVER :)

I thought that was not a dumb question. It could be for Christmas day or eve or anyday around there made perfect sense to me.

Make her breakfast in bed. You can make baked french toast the night before and just pop it in the oven. You can premake the bacon and reheat that too.

Just be sure you don't fall back asleep.

Then some nice hot mulled cider. I bet she would love it as much as dinner.

Is your wife's family from a different country? Italian, German, Mexican, etc. You could prepare an ethnic Christmas meal of her ancestry.

A meal can become special in the way you prepare it. Got a BBQ and it's not below 32 degrees? Do everything on the grill, and warm her up with desert of Dutch Oven Cobbler (http://southernfood.about.com/od/cobblers/r/blbb305.htm). The presentation is also important. Candles, good plates, nice napkins, wine, etc.

This (http://allrecipes.com/HowTo/Christmas-Dinner/Detail.aspx) is a good site with many options for each entre'. Sometimes it's as simple as printing out a recipie and going shopping for ingredients. Good luck!

lol, yeah I must admit my hubby and kids laugh at me while I am on them,I tried to get ice cubes from my phone that's on the wall...gigglin,they tend to throw me for a loop,I then realize what I did and say"I was just checking to see if you were paying attention", lets just say it keeps people laughing and I can blame it on the meds and not the blonde moment:)
