Cranberry Mold

Hi all,

We are on the Williams Sinoma mailing list and they has some great stuff for xmas this year. When I saw that they had cranberry molds I was curious if anyone knows how to make one? Is it just cranberry sauce from a can put into a mold and then put in the fridge for a day or is it made from scratch with a jellitin? Any help would be great since I'm having the big xmas party and would like to serve one.

Growler, cranberry sauce is a snap to make. the recepie is usually on the back of the bags of cranberries you buy. It involves boiling and straining the cranberries and adding sugar to them.

I *think?* you can heat up the canned kind, and then pour it into a mold as well.

As far as molds go, you should be able to use silicone to mold anything and most are foodgrade. It will say so on the data.
