I know I'm new here so I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, so please move it to a more appropriate place if needed?

I'd like to invite everyone to a gathering of Christmas Light enthusiasts being held here over Labor Day weekend.

Sounds awesome! I'm not much into lights, but it really does sound like fun. Maybe by then I'll actually have some moola to go. :)

Yes Carrie I just came across this after typing that post about us all getting together. For sure if I can make it home at that time......I would be interested in atttending this conference.

Muffy, that would be so cool if you came! I can tell you this much, when I did this in 2006, we had some of the nicest Christmas nuts here you could ever want to meet. People came from many states around the country. I know we are light nuts (but just about everyone also is into building home made Christmas items and decorate indoors too). If you can swing it, would love to have you!

I wanna read more what they have to offer & I'm gonna sit & figure out if I can make it home that week. The only thing that might get in the way is if I have surgery & what will happen with that & when they will schedule me.

Muffy, I'd be happy to make you some Chicago Hot Dogs ..that is what we did at the 2006 Meet & Greet. Didn't realize you were a Chicagoan! Seems like there are quite a few here. If I can answer any questions that are not on the website, give me a shout. Would love to meet you.
