Hi,

My name is Chuck Forkner and I heard about your site from another site. I thought I would check it out and see how this one works. My family and I have a pretty large display that consists of blowmolds, wireframes, inflatables and plywood cutouts that my grandfather made in 1950. My son and I have won the city wide contest 5 out of the lat 7 years. We live in the Twin Cities where Menards and other smaller stores sold blowmolds for years, so we have a large collection of blowmolds, (some extremly rare ones) and I also run a website blowmoldsforsale.com. I hope to meet a lot of people and see what I can learn from others. My biggest fetish is that I collect the Mr. Christmas wireframes. I love them and have close to 100 of them already.

Glad to see more prop oriented people joining this site. I would love to see photos if you have any. :)

Thanks for the welcome folks....and if you want to see my display, it is on my site. On the homepage you will see Want to see my 2006 display? Click Here.

You do not even have to go into my site to see my display, so I just want you to understand as I am not trying to sell something to you...LOL..I did not decorate in 2007 as I was still a PTF at the post office and during the holiday season I worked close to 70 hrs per week if not more. My neighbor is the one that recorded the display. She said she did it quickly. My 2008 display will be so much better.

Again thanks for the kind words and I look forward to learning from you folks.

Chuck

Elvira,

That Santa on the bike is one of my favorite ones. I love the wireframes that animate. My neighbor did not tape my front yard where I have penguin land. There I have a penguin that is fishing and pulls out a fish, and now I have penguin that throws a snowball at another penguin and hits him in the back of his head.
