I thought this might be fun to better introduce ourselves.
What else do we enjoy doing besides christmas and halloween prop building?
Outside of Halloween and Christmas, I enjoy camping, home reno's and home decorating, building unique things for year round display. My dogs, my girls (when they aren't experiencing PMS) :D Cutting the lawn. LOL yes, I do enjoy cutting the lawn, I do it every second day. I over fertilize and it grows like a weed just so I can cut it.
(so now you know why I am horrified when I see dandelions) LOL

I'm an actor who has had to not act for awhile because of family challenges. I'm also a theatre maker. Mostly directing, but have done all aspects of theatre work.
I work part time and take care of my son while my wife has her full time job. I used to work with the blind, and she works with special ed in a high school. Currently I outside at U-Haul.
Basically my life is props, theatre, and family- not necessarily in that order. I only do a job to pay bills. :)

Outside of halloween and Christmas, i love camping, reading, I read almost any genre, if it's written well, it doesn't matter what . I love animals of all shapes and sizes, walking in the great outdoors, enjoying nature, walking the beaches of Lake Michigan.
Most of all I love spending time with my kids, who are grown, and busy, but a day with one of them , or better yet, both of them,is a perfect day.

Well, I thought I would chime in.
I work as a Visual Display Artist for Bloomindales.Which is a fancy way of saying,I do a whole lot of "creative engineering".I try to make the cheap stuff look good,So you cant live with out it. In the 20 years I have done this I have also worked for Sears,
Homelife Furniture, Dillards, Bassett Furniture, Ashley Furniture and The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. I am also an interior designer, specializing in interior redesign, taking what you already have and making you room look different.(and hopefully better).
If that was'nt enough,I also like Sickie,am an actor and also a singer.I have been in 100's of productions here and in California. Currently, I am working on "1776" to open in July.
I am playiny "George Read", the snobby delegate from Delaware. He signed the Declaration of Independence somewhere way under Handcock ,Franklin and Adams.
On top of that, is my passion for Halloween and Christmas decorating."If its not over the top,its not worth doing".I guess you could say,I like to keep busy.

Hey Sickie, you don't grow ears on there backs do you? LOL
Im a woodworker/cabinet and countertops fabracator, I also own a parkinglot sweeping company, (you know the street sweeper trucks with the big broom on the side). I like to sculpt, draw, paint, work with my hands and figure things out. My wife calls me a perfectionest, I have to research and think things through before I do anything so it takes me forever to get things done the way I want.
Anyway thats it in a nutshell, I'll edit if I come up with anything else, but for now I need to go to a cookout!

When I'm not working, I enjoy reading (currently John Adams, a great read if you like history), drawing, painting, leather and wood carving. My real job for 23 years was as a paralegal in a law firm but I switched careers and now am the general manager of a large apartment complex and a shopping center. My display, my family, and my involvement over on 2 other Christmas sites keeps me hopping!

I'm trying to play the drums now. Really like Jazz drumming and got a set last year. Years ago I played the guitar but hurt my right hand at work so I couldn't play anymore.
