Well ,hubby came home the other day and said a guy from his work was throwing out some christmas stuff, and wanted to know if I wanted to check it out--like he didn't already know!. He brought it home yesterday, and I got a air blown snowman, 3 different sizes of spiral trees, some other :lights, a flat/lit up train, that I not all the lights work, if I can't fix will just throw out, and a marcus the carcus, in the box. So not bad for free!!:)

Marcus the carcus? Now that's my kinda Christmas decor! LOL Totally cool Bethene. Free is always good. Hope you can get all the lights to work.

How cool!!! I wish my mom would go through her stuff because she has collected A LOT over the years and doesn't put most of it out anymore.

what's a marcus the carcus? You can make the lights work on the train, I know you can. Eve if it's just replacing the string of lights. :)

Sicki, actually Marcus the carcus is a halloween prop, a head and hands that has lights that fade in and out , to be put by a grave or something to look like he is coming out of the ground, kinda goofy, but for free, I'll try to make him better with paint, or something!

I have never done any corpsing, but on something free, so if I mess it up it won't matter so much is hte place to start!!

That's the idea! Check out Hauntproject.com for corpsing ideas. Of course I'm partial to the HG corpsing. :)
