what about "dominick the donkey?"
It actually is mind numbing after awhile, but funny nonetheless.

Miss Fogarty's Christmas Cake - Irish Rovers

"Miss Mulligan wanted to try it,
But really it wasn't no use
For we worked in it over an hour
And we couldn't get none of it loose
Till Murphy came in with a hatchet
And Kelly came in with a saw
That cake was enough be the powers above
For to paralyze any man's jaws"

Merry Christmas from the Family - Dixie Chicks

"Brother Ken brought his kids with him
The three from his first wife Lynn
And the two identical twins
From his second wife MaryNell
Of course he brought his new wife Kaye
Who talks all about AA
Chain smokin' while the stereo plays
Noel, Noel, The first Noel"

Christmas Christmas Time is Near, Time for toys and time for cheer, we've been good, but we can't last, hurry Christmas hurry fast

Want a train that loop'de loops. Me I want a hoola hoop, We can hardly stand the wait, please Christmas don't be late!

How the hack did I remember those lyrics when I can't even remember where I put my socks in the morning? heh

"Christmas, Don't Be Late" originally titled "The Chipmunk Song" (I had the 45 RPM almost 50 years ago:(). Before this one was mentioned, I was going to say "Pretty Little Dolly" by Mona Abboud. Childofthenight, you are correct. It is called "There's Something Stuck Up In The Chimney." All good songs along with others here. I have them downloaded. Not CD quality but usable.

Captain Santa Claus by Bobbie Helms, it's on the b side of Jingle Bell Rock.

RRguy

Clarice, is that the one that goes, "Hooray for captain Santa Claus and his reindeer space patrol?"

Clarice

Yep that's the one. I found the 45 on ebay last year and just had to have it. My brother, who is 7 years older than me, was scared to death of that song when he was little. My mom says he could tell just by the look of the label which one it was. I think I'll give it to him for Christmas this year.

You're all heart.:)
I heard that song on the juke box around Christmas time at a pizza joint that my wife used to work at in the '70s. I don't know if that version was Bobbie Helms.

Sickie Ickie

That wasn't Bobby Helms in the version you heard, it was Leona Helmsley singing it! :p

Nobody has mentioned "I'll Never Do It on A Christmas Tree" by Rodney Dangerfield. It's not my favorite, but it's good for a laugh.
