Had a music outlet store here in town that had a Christmas section a good 20 ft long. Went by the place Friday morning to find they're gone. Glad I bought what I did from them. I have enough Christmas music right now. If I played one right after the other 24 hours straight I'd probably listen to a different tape or CD for the entire month of December. Or longer. And I still what more. Christmas spirit or insanity? LOL However it would have been nice to find replacements for all the stuff I have on tape.

We used to have a Buy, sell, Trade place here in town that had a basement full of all types of used Lps for $2.00 each. I got the same surprise about amonth ago when i went by there. Our Of Business. It sucks.

I was looking through my grandpas old record collection, and found like 20 albums of Xmas music....I was quite excited!

My Dad has a huge record collection he says I can have one day. He wants me to sell them off on ebay sometime. Most of his is big band error stuff. He does have about 40 or 50 Christmas LPs though. No matter if I sell all his records or not. I WILL be getting scans and rips of them all before I do.

I have a friend who has a modern record machine that has a laser instead of aneedle, and can transfer LPs to CDs.

I've seen articles about those. The last I read they cost about $14,000.00 each. I see by checking Google they're down to under $10,00.00 now....lol. Here's a photo of one brand:

That looks very similar to what he has, except I'll be honest with ya and say that he's also an actor, so 10,000 would be wayyyyy out of his price range. Chances are he got it for less than $500
