This was a fun project and very simple to make.

Dh and I built this mailbox in an evening. Plant it outside your front door, or inside the front entrance, great conversation piece.

http://www.santasprojects.com

Click on the above link and then in the upper left corner there is a link that says, "Add your project here!" Click that and it will lead ya through it. :D

Add as many projects as you'd like. I'm trying to build up the site. I thought of it a while back, and everyone here chipped in ideas and it kinda became an adopted child to everyone! :D

Methinks XmasLilly has submitted the most so far. Thanks Lil!

Thank you, its really super easy to make, and alot of fun.

I used parts off the old "wire in the wooden pole" kind of chrismas tree. We used all the branches from the tree to twist into a giant wreath for the garage and the pole and stand was left over.

Instead of tossing that out, we thought it would make a nice stable stand for a mail box.

A large coffee can (1 kg ) drill a hole, put the pole through. I then used a piece of carboard for the door of the mailbox and covered that with cotton snow like stuff. Covered the can with red felt, used some old left over ornaments to decorate the outside. Wrap garland around the pole and added some lights. Make a few chirstmas cards for the inside and WA LA... project complete.
