We had a great time. Hotter than heck though. As soon as the ceremony was over we had to change. I wish our friends were rennies so we would have had more people in costume, as it was only my sis was in costume. We had family camping with us for the week and our friends and dive buddies came down for the day. The dive group's dive instructor is a "real" ordained minister and he conducted the ceremony for us. He did really well considering it was a pagan ceremony. Luckily we all practiced the week before. I'll have to post the pics in my photobucket.

Okay, so you want to see what I look like. Well here ya go. First photo is me four years ago with granddaughter Autumn born in 2004 and I still look the same. LOL...The Ferris Wheel photo was taken when I was 13 years old and I had repainted it for an amusement company one summer that I worked for. I had worked for them as a carny man and got to run this ride at a young age. I loved being a kid and still do. My other photos of me are from when I use to be a head web pressman for a local newspaper company for years.

Thanks! We love her name too. Would love to see that Ferris Wheel again. Have not seen it since I ran it and repainted it. I still though know the location where it is at. I'll have to drop by and use some mini lights on it sometime. It does have it's own larger lights on it though like refrigerator 25 watt bulbs. They are different colors.

I love it as well. I miss running this ride. I always loved to run this ride and watch the kiddies have so much fun riding on it. I also ran a small Merry-Go-Round, but I really loved the Ferris Wheel the best. It does have refrigerator type lights on it that are 25 watt bulbs. As a kid once and still am a kid at heart, I got to ride this Ferris Wheel too. So cool!!

Thanks for all the nice comments. I have gone from being a lurker on this forum to posting and saw this thread get revived a couple of weeks ago and started looking for a good picture to post.

We pick the boys up from school two days a week when their mother is working. Then the first thing they ask is "grandma can we make cookies?". They get right up there and help her. They even know the receipe by heart. They make pressed cookies. They love cutting them out and decorating the cookies both with sprinkles and icing.

JW, you're very observant! The insignia is actually for the Civil Engineering Squadron
(3E151 to be exact) but it looks very similar to the Aircraft Maintenance insignia from a distance.

That set of blues is still missing several ribbons, but I haven't had a good opportunity to fix it since I've been out. I just dug them out of a box I had in storage a few weeks ago and took them to the dry cleaners. I also found out that when you get away from military bases, they dry clean uniforms for a very nice price! When I got them back from the dry cleaners, Trish said that she had to have at least one picture of me wearing them, lol. She's an Army vet.

Putrid, neither one of us wants kids anytime in the near future, but I'm hoping to propose to her soon. Hopefully, she'll move in with me when I find a place near the prison I'll be working at, and as soon as I get one of them fancy left-handed rings for her...
I'm kind of hoping that she applies for the same prison I'll be working at. She was a Deputy Jailer for a while and she loves the corrections field.

I've been busy as heck trying to find a place to rent by the prison. It's out in the middle of no where so it's been hard to find anything close by.

I'm kind of hoping that she applies for the same prison I'll be working at. She was a Deputy Jailer for a while and she loves the corrections field.

Odd how many things we all have in common! I grew up in airforce and my father took x-rays of airplanes for hair line cracks etc before it got so stressful and cross trained. Small world huh?

When I was in the overhead crane business we used to magnaflux hooks, sheaves, etc. all the time. I was project manager on a job for GE Nuclear and we had to have x-rays in addition to the other tests.
