Bought gifts for 2008

I love the after Christmas sales! I have already gotten three people out of the way for this year! I have even bought birthday gifts for four people this year. Anybody else do any shopping for 2008?

lol...I have a hard time buying things that I can logically say I'll use at a very speific day and time. For example....it was like pulling nails to get me to finally decide on those couches I got right before the holidays. But it is the same for big or small ticket items. I can, however, spend a ridiculous amount on clearance b/c in my mind, it is a good deal that won't be around for very long -- whether I can say I'll use it or not.

But, back to the thread....
it is funny b/c I just realized I have one more gift to buy before I see the gift receiver tomorrow! So digbugsgirl is shopping for 08 and I haven't even finished 07! Guess I should take notes!

I don't think I can even afford items on clearence at this point. I need to save up for halloween and finish paying for X-mas gifts.:(

I haven't started yet, But I did start making a list. I'm going to try and budget this year. so I look at all the sales regularly. keep an eye out for Amazon.com in November they usually have a lot of good deals especially with the free shipping , I bought most of my items last year through them and I ended up saving quite a bit especially on gas. not to mention all of the hassles of holiday shopping.

I have bought the girls those Mr. Christmas machines and I was going to make home made cheese cakes too for everyone.(I make good cheesecake lol) Plus I'm still going to decorate De's front yard for her.
