We start enjoying the music on Thanksgiving day - and my wife and I at least got to enjoy our local station until Christmas day, and Sirius at least played Christmas music until last night - New Year's Day - but now we're sad because it's over. :(
We're still playing our CDs to fall asleep to as we grew up in an are that celebrated Greek Orthodox/Russian Christmas which I believe is the second weekend in January.........
Plus my birthday is 1/4 so we always enjoy the 'holidays' until then....
Anyone else going through withdrawal?

NEVER LOL, I listen to allot of jazz so I toss in 'A Charley Brown Christmas' and get a good hit whenever I need it. Best on a snowy day. Great on a hot day because it reminds me of the snow. And I'll even listen to it wile making Halloween props

Yeah, I miss it, too. My car pooling friend doesn't though. It's the station my car radio was tuned to all the time. heh

I do! Last year I thought one of the XM stations lasted until mid January. The 1st was the last day! I was so sad! I have my music boxes I got for Christmas that play Christmas music so I will be turning those on whenever I feel the need.

yep me and My Grandson Dane
I took My full size Santa prop down and he just happen to come over that day. he looked at me then Santa lying on the Living Room floor as I was taking him apart and He said "stop nana put him back up." and he started to cry. I had to tell you have to wait till next year and he cried even harder. Mommy (Madame X ) told him you just have to wait now till next christmas and That didnt help either. What do you do with a 3old in tears.

I thought my 2yr old would be devastated when I took the tree down considering that he cried for two hours when all the halloween props came down, but he was okay with it. (go figure) I guess I have a little haunter on my hands:)
I was begining to get a little tired of the X-mas music until they stopped playing it on our local station the day after X-mas. then I missed it. I thought they would play it until at least the first.

I do miss it, I still have my CD's out yet though, I will play them when the urge hits me! At work it was on all the time, so I miss it there, now they have either Spanish or country, I am not sure which is worse(NOT a country music fan I may be a AARP member- but I am still a rocker, thank you very much!LOL!)--so I definately miss it at work!

My wife likes country music. Drives me nuts. It's on my radio every time she borrows the car.

I like country music when its on other stations and they play a song here and there. I just don't like listening to country stations all day long. and as for the spanish stations they'll play one song and three hours of comercial before they get to the next song. A person can go insane.

Here in Phoenix, the "Christmas Station" started playing a couple days before Thanksgiving, and finally quit 8am the day after Christmas.. Was good, and bad.. but Russian Christmas is today and we've been playing our Christmas .mp3's ever since they stopped on the radio.. I've got enough to play abt 37hrs straight thru.. a lil' over 3 days.. Helps ween us off the music slowly..
I'm a country music fantoo, the oldest random-noise generator is also. Wife listens to head-bangin music, but we're Bruce groupies(both from NJ). Funny, her folks owned a classic country-western bar in NJ(Buck Owens, Tayna Tucker, Tammy Whynot, Farun Young, George Jones..) Most of the time tho I find myself on the oldies station..

It is oldies if you ask school kids! My mother in law says that in her middle school, the kid were like, "Who is Kurt Cobain?"
It broke my husbands heart.

I love it, but even i get tired of it by Mid-January. Even though I have an all year round Christmas Music sharing Blog I still don't listen to it while I'm sharing. I generally start about the week after halloween listening to it while I'm on the PC. My wife uses our car the most. She usually won't start playing it in the car until about Thanksgving week.
