Lor does not need to be hooked up to the computer all the time but the olsen595/grinch does.

olsen 595/grinch is FAR more cost effective then any other thats the route im going to do im placing my order in JAN. I already have my sequence done too. Rule of thumb start your sequence now it takes time lots of it.
You just have to build the olsen 595 or the grinch.

Just be 100% sure about your wiring before you plug it in. Dont want any fires or sparks or shocks. It confused me at first so be sure before.

Not the ones i mentioned. They do have some more "residential" ones pre programmed ones at lowes and home depot though. I just cant justify spending more money on less channels and not enough control.

Thats why i am going to get the grinch and ssr boards and build myself. It saves a bundle if you can solder. 1 grinch and 16 ssr's are 44 dollars. I think the parts for the grinch come up to 20 bucks and i have not priced the parts for the ssr's yet but its got to be plenty cheaper then buying a turn key op. Id rather build it to be honest.

Plus each ssr has 4 channles so 16 ssr x 4 is 64 channles much cheaper if ya ask me.
