Hi, everyone.

Me and my gf decorated an elderly folks home last weekend.
Putting the lights on it was the hardest thing I did myself.
I had to keep pulling out blown bulbs and replacing them with new ones over and over again.
I must have looked like I was going to kill someone there, it seems, by some of the looks I got
from some of the nurse's that were over looking us on there brake. No more old lights! I cryed....lol

But, I think we finished up really well and the nice folks there where very happy we came by.

O.K. We went and bought a 'pre-lit' tree that same day and went on over to her place of work
to start decorating the office waiting area.
Thank God, In less than 5 minutes out of the tree box, she was up standing ready to be dressed!
All the ornaments hung up belonged to us. And she pulled the ribbon into nice bows herself.
I just helped with all those long trails.

Thaught I share. Merry Christmas All!

Well after that day of bustlling with those old tree lights,
I happy to say that I will NO longer play with any light strings ever again!

Gonna be 'pre-lit' all the way, for now on for me.

Very pretty- and very sweet that you would decorate for the elderly- that's really the right Christmas spirit!

Thanks!
While we where finishing up that office tree, a couple of the docters who were there working late,
stopped by to speak and saw what we had done and where very happy we brought in some christmas cheer to the place..Cause it had been totally bare before. One doctor yelled "YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!:)

Here's a BIG wreath she managed to pull together at the last minute before we called it quits for the night.

managed to pull together at the last minute ?!! WOW that is a beautiful wreath. I can't imagine what she would have done if she had more time. Nice job on the trees also. I know what you mean about replacincing the bulbs. I go through it ever year, and it makes you want to go postal at times.:)

I don't know how she pulls it off.
But she was not 100% pleased with the overall look of that wreath . Go figure lol..
She thaught it needed something to give it an extra 'pop' if you will.
Sooo, As luck would have it. We marched back to the elderly home and found some dryed annaul springy things while there. I don't no 'plant talk' in tec. term.
Well, it was something like baby's breath in a sort a way, but looked to me like green sage or something like that.

I had just about finished my roll of film, figuring she was done with it.
I'll have to get a clearer pic; Cause the finished one taken, it's a little blurry .

Well, I think it was gorgous before the "springy things" were added, so I am sure it is even more beautiful- as hard as that is to believe. I love the blue, very pretty.
