I ran across this video on you tube last week and it reminded me of the snowflakes I used to do way back in the day when I was in girlscouts, I had forgotten about these until I saw them in you tube. I made about 20 of these this past week. although the video shows a large one being made, I made mine smaller by cutting the paper in fours. saves on paper also, easy to make, a little time consuming but very cute when hanging them aroud the house:) YouTube - Make A Cool 3D Paper Snowflake

I'm glad Sickie, I really liked making these. I get alot of compliments from family and friends when they see them all over the house.

Those are verrrry nice! I can see lightly spraying them with adhesive and sprinkling white or silver Diamond Dust glitter on. Love it! Thanks for posting that video.

Thanks for sharing I wonder what would happen if you scalloped the edges too. and then added the glitter.. and you could make gingerbreadman cutouts like the folded paper dolls we use to do as kids.fold the paper and cut then pull and have a whole string..

For the most part, I try to stay away from videos. Too tough with everyone's different system, plus people in general like to have something written before them to keep going back to.

Of course the way around that is to have someone here make a written how-to on it. :D

Anyone?
