I hope that one day I'll have enough money to give it away like that! I want to be a person who goes to a restaurant and sees the waitress working hard, but getting no respect, then (with out much ado) leaves a humongous tip. Or hand a wad of cash to a mom with a gaggle of kids in walmart. Or a bunch of money to the McDonalds drive through guy. That would be fun.

Thanks for sharing, Johnny. :)

I got to do that on a smaller scale last Christmas. I had some extra cash around Thanksgiving, a loan was paid back that I hadn't really expected to see again. I set aside $200 in twenties and left them as extra tips when I ate out in December. I used to waitress and tend bar when I was younger and those rare unexpected windfalls made a big difference in my life then. Figured I'd pass it along.

Very cool indeed. :) I had an entertainment friend who used to leave a hundred dollar tip after a gig. When the waitress would exclaim he left the wrong bill, he would say, "Let's hope I get better service next time." LOL The waitresses always remembered him, and following times, he got great service! I always thought it would be great to give the person who tracked him down as he left and extra $10 for the concern! LOL

Another entertainer friend of mine used to pay for everything with $2 bills and silver dollars. He, too, was remembered.

As Everyone knows I 'm a Grandma : well One day Dane who is 3 came over to my house.
While I was still working on Santa and He said to me:

"Nana I want your Duct Tape." I looked at him then his Mom and said "Why Do You need my duct tape ". The reply was was "Cause".
Under My work table I have a bin that I keep rolls of Duct tape and Rope and and Great Stuff etc. and He reached in it and Grabbed the Duct tape and The rope.
I asked him what do you need the rope for and He said " The Reindeer " by this time I had all I could do to keep a straight face and I said ' What is the duct tape for " and He said " Santa ".
You see his mom was going to take him to go see Santa that afternoon and He was going to Kidnap Santa. To Take him back to the North Pole . I told him that wasn't a good idea .
"But That is where the toys are and Santa has to go back" he said.
so all by himself Dane was going to make sure Santa got back to the North Pole on Time.
