I got what you said Craig. (what RYB said was kind of funny too..) I love that we can point out our errors in life and laugh about them! :D

I wish I could play my organ like this guy does! (Craig, Let's see if RYB touches that one with a 10 foot pole!) LMAO ROFL! (and NO I have never met that guy, and he hasn't touched my organ - even with a 10 foot pole!) :D And I don't even have an organ! (YET!) BUT I will learn how to play my organ when I get one! :D Maybe Nephew Fred will help me learn! LOL :D

There is a Hammond at a thrift store that I visit.... I have my eye on it! :D

And on a side note, Playing an instrument requires lots of attention. Doing your job requires lots of attention. Planning for Halloween also requires lots of attention. Christmas, of course requires ALL of your attention. Learning a new instrument at the same time requires alot more attention. And I LOVE IT! I like being busy!

Oh, the things I could say.........:eek:

It really isn't that difficult to learn. I have taken piano off and on for years.
I just don't practice enough. I think I have a short attention span.

Playing an instrument like the Hammond isn't difficult, I believe the technique is a bit different than playing a piano.
But, its all about a commitment to practice.

And no, the "Think System" from the "Music Man" musical doesn't work.
Tried it. All I got was brain cramps.

I taught myself the accordion, and actually got quite good at it! I just wish it hadn't dried out and left me with a big bill to get it fixed.

I haven't has the accordion fixed, but it does have "Eddie" in rhinestones on it... When I get rich, maybe I will. :D

It's kind of like typing or doing 10 key. The accordion had "places" to place your finger, then you just memorized where from there. I wish pianos and organs had "places".

And, Fred, The Music Man is my all time favorite movie! (it even trumps "Fried Green Tomatoes"!)
