Motion Lights Question

Anyone know from experience or just pure electrical know-how if you add a string of mini-lights to the end of a string of motion mini-lights, will the regular strand react the same way the motion lights do?:confused:

yes, because the lights aren't the brains of the motion. The question is, will the new spliced strand work with the same amount of power supplied to it.

Actually yes and no. You would have to wire the normal lights according to their color and position to the other set, then change the SSR (Solid State Relay) in the box so that it would be able to handle the amplitude of the extra set.

Thanks for the replies...I've also noticed that there are four wires with the motion lights and only three with the regular lights, I don't know for sure but I assume (yes I know) that the four is some kind of control wire but I don't know for sure. Anyway I decided to purchase more of the same motion lights to accomodate my needs, Thanks you two for the input
