I figure since we always building something and things go wrong but not holiday humor i know i post here anyway. I swear i have had all 9 happen to me on more then one occasion.

Murphy's Laws

Murphy's First Law: Nothing is as easy as it looks .
Murphy's Second Law: Everything takes longer than you think

Murphy's Third Law: In any field of endeavor, anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

Murphy's Fourth Law: If there is a possibility that several things can go wrong, then the one that will cause the greatest damage will be the one to go wrong.

Murphy's Fifth Law: If anything absolutely can NOT go wrong, it will anyway.

Murphy's Sixth Law: If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which a procedure can go wrong and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop.

Murphy's Seventh Law: Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse.

Murphy's Eighth Law: If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Murphy's Ninth Law: Nature always sides with the hidden flaw.

We were flooded in basement sitting/living area and game room totally destroyed! Everything had to come out. Only good thing about it is i coverted game room into shop and sitting area is going to be turned back into game room soon as i get upstairs finished. Lucky all the water didnt ruin the pooltable. I tell ya its always something.....Cant get caught up fer nothing.

OH btw fixed where the flash flooding from the rain was comming in at and havent seen any water since so. Some good came from it b/c down stairs was always leaking.

I hear you, Frosty.

A week ago, I glanced up at the ceiling in the kitchen and noticed water damage because of ice damming on the roof (THAT was fun). I decided I should look in the garage on the other side of the same wall.... yup, MORE water damage! (WHEEEEEE!) Guess who is going to be fixing THAT?:(

Fix that problem then find another one then another one etc...I swear my house is alive sometimes and makes this stuff happen for spite! But i will say this i havent had any "real" Injuries yet and im accident prone from hell! :)
