Like a lot of the rest of the world, I've always been a sucker for Sarajevo 12/24. But it's a little played out at this point.
Carol of the Bells, in its original form, is very good as well.

I think my favorite Christmas song is 'All Alone on Christmas' by Darlene Love, or 'Christmas (Baby Please come Home)' also, by Darlene Love. :)

If I had to pick one song? this year it would be Hark the Harold Angels sing. Always liked that one!
There's way to many to like! LOL But i'd say the music that really sets the Christmas season off for me is any one of them from 'A Charlie Brown Christmas'. From the opening piano of 'O Tannebaum' to the closing notes of 'Greensleeves'.
Vince Guaraldi Trio has the only version of "Christmas is coming' that I actually like. I have a Mich Miller version. Song 15 at this link,
mitch miller
Unfortunately I can't find the CD on Amazon with the Templars version of that song. Even though I bought that CD from Amazon. LOL Ever try to use their search? Man, that's a joke.

O Holy Night is one of my favorites. The one that brings me to tears every Christmas Eve at Church is Breath of Heaven. This girl comes back every year to sing it and she does such a beautiful job singing it. Thank goodness they turn down the lights lol!

LOL@Jingle Cats, had never heard of them till I checked this thread! :D
As for my favorite Christmas song, all I can say is, I wouldn't know where to start. :) Is it OK to have a list of about 10?
Mostly I tend to like ones about snow, but I also like the Little Drummer Boy song, and a bunch of others too.

When you think of the soldiers wanting to come home during world war II, you have to agree "I'll Be Home For Christmas" is the best there is.....

If only.... if only ALL of our brave fighting forces could be home for Christmas. THAT would be a blessing...... God bless them, each and every one of them.

For me its What Child is This and Baby Boy from Kenny Rogers I think that is the name of the song, and Do You Hear What I Hear.
For the kids I like Must Be Santa, but hard to find the music.

My all time favorite is 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas'. I like every version I've ever heard, but hands down it was best sung by Judy Garland. A close second is 'Santa looked a lot like Daddy (or Daddy looked a lot like him)' by Buck Owens.
One of my most fav songs is ''White Christmas''.
I love Irving Berlin who has composed music and written lyrics for the song, in early 1940.
In musical ‘’Holiday Inn’’ (which I also love), Bing Crosby sings the song in a duet with Marjorie Reynolds.

Okay I am just randomly going thru posts since I am fairly new here and giving my answers. This site is absolutely wonderful!!! So two of my favorite Christmas songs are: Fall Softly Snow by Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius and The Ballad of the Christmas Donkey by Ed Ames.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24". It's very powerful, and easily my favorite version of "Carol of the Bells."
HOWEVER, I must say that I CANNOT have Christmas without Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song."
