If you ever wanted a new game for Christmas, here's a little something to inspire.

According to the Bible, how many wise men or magi visited the Birth?
A- Unknown. The Bible lists the gifts, not the number or the names of the wise men. Names and number appeared later in early christian lore.

True or False - Before his redemption, Ebenezer Scrooge gave his clerk Bob Cratchit Christmas Day off... with pay.
A- True

Often mis-named "Donner", the reindeer named Donder is paired with Blitzen. What do their names mean?
A- German for Thunder (Donder) and Lightening (Blitzen).

What date is the Twelfth Day of Christmas?
A- January 6th

In the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas", the miniature sleigh only flew when this happened...
A- ..."when meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky."

Good King Wenceslas looked out, on the Feast of Stephen - what date is that?
A- Dec. 26th

The National Christmas Tree, on the South Lawn of the White House is surrounded by a ring of smaller christmas trees. What do these trees represent?
A- The states and territories.

The song "The Little Drummer Boy" has the drummer state to the baby Jesus that he is a "poor boy, too." Was Jesus actually born into a poor family?
A- Not likely. Joseph was a carpenter, a well-paid profession. They were in the manger due to space limitations at the local hostel, not lack of cash.

In Germany, only bakers were allowed to make these desserts most of the year, but everyone was allowed to make them at Christmas and Easter.
A- Gingerbread Houses.

Whereas in America Santa Claus is left milk and cookies as a thanks for his kindness, in England Father Christmas is often left what?
A- A glass of liquor, such as rum or cream sherry.

What were the ornaments on a Christmas tree originally supposed to represent?
A- Fruit. In fact, fruits and nuts are some of the first decorations recorded.

Snopes has a good short read on this http://www.snopes.com/holidays/christmas/3wisemen.asp

While wikipedia has a more in depth read. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Wise_Men

I especially enjoy this pic from Spain with the three wise men receiving requests from children for gifts
