hehehehe... I usually prefer to buy my stocking stuffers and Christmas gifts at the gas station down the street the night before Christmas or Christmas Morning.
It is one of my Christmas traditions... lol

Since I am never able to shop more than two weeks ahead (Financial reasons), I get just what little I can barely afford.
The Cat is getting some new Toys and a new Litter Box. Hubby is getting some new Jeans.
I am getting nothing.
I don't know what I could possibly want.
Maybe I will make the Decorating, my Gift to me. I don't know.
I have not decided.

I am the same way.. if we don't have enough money then everyone gets something but me.
Isn't sad how wives and mothers are often the first to lose and the last to get, if they even get at all

Yep...I have to physically pick out a gift for myself if I want one. And the sad part is...it is not usually lack of money. It is lack of caring on the part of my family. Which actually makes it sadder for me. In 20+ years of marriage not once has my husband ever taken the kids shopping to get me a gift or even a card for christmas or birthday or mother's day.
Well, I will quit bitching and answer the real question. LOL
First let me say i am really jealous that you have finished shopping already. I usually do my shopping the few days before christmas. I am such a procrastinator. Also, I try so hard to find the perfect gift for everyone. And when I can't i end up buying some stupid thing in a haste at the last minute. Maybe this post will motivate me to get started sooner. Like tomorrow. Or maybe on Monday.

I have to admit that jealousy was my first reaction also.
How about starting the Monday after next?... lol

I think likely just some of my Fave Candies and something special to wear for that evening.
If I do get something, maybe a new dress outfit, or something.

Our family (all adults) finally decided not to buy any gifts for each other this year. I have two nephews on Hubby's side of the family to get gift certificates for, but that's all. I'm kind of bummed out, because I love to Christmas shop. I guess I can shop vicariously though you folks, and do a lot of window shopping on the side.

me too. I hate shopping but I LOVE gift giving. Well wrapping&bows maybe you can get me a pop up camper. I really need one. And then you would have an excuse to drive down to FL. LOL Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. My husband is a treasure but just not very gifty. he tries to buy me stuff all year, but never any surprises. It's all good.

I'm started - got my daughters mostly done. I know what I'm getting my son. It's the extended family that I'm clueless on. My parents are fairly easy though. My mom loves those photo calendars - I get her an updated one every year. It's a great gift but takes me forever to do!!

I haven't started shopping yet, i hope to get most of it done on-line. Ther kids lists are getting longer with all the ads on tv, and every year there is a tricky present to get - last year it was a pendant of the Durham sanctuary door knocker (really hard to find) .

I have not shopped yet but I will get a few gifts on the day after Thanksgiving and the rest I will buy from Half.com. Most of my family and friends are book and media lovers that that will make everyone happy....and its really cheap :)

Nyet Nada Zilch...no money, no job, and I just found out my dad, who has been battling cancer for three years might not be taking chemo anymore as it's not doing him any good, only making things worse for him. When it rains it pours.
