lol, sickie!

Frosty, do your wine drinkers enjoy fruity and sweet or a more hearty wine? Red or white? Thanksgiving has so many flavors, it is really hard to pick a bottle that doesn't go with the meal, but I might be able to offer a suggestion if you give me more info...

Depending on how many people I'm having, I usually buy a few bottles of white and red. White Zinfindel is more on the sweet side but is kinda in between a red & white. You can usually get away with buying wine between 6-$10 a bottle. I really depends on the manufacturer.

white and we are not into wine but do enjoy a good wine and have no idea what brand to try. I did a little research and keep comming up with Sauvignon Blanc. Is this a good or bad pick?

It depends on your taste really. I really enjoy a nice Chardonnay.
We get our wines from The Niagara Wineries. Also we enjoy having a nice ice wine after
dinner. Nice and sweet.

Hope you find somthing you like!!

I personally like riesling, but it is too sweet for some. Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are good choices. Beringer and Kendall Jackson are both pretty widely offered and good. But I like to go to a wine store here and just ask the clerk for something good in my price range b/c I like to try new things...and I am bad at remember the names of what I've already had! I'm sure you'll find something great - good luck
