Here is my attempt at a fireworks burst. I'm going to post as I go along..

There will be 4 channels of lights on each spoke. Lights will be 50 minis W/R.
I started with 2, 1" thick boards cut in a circle. The boards are screwed together. The burst will have 5 spokes. I drilled in the center 5 - 1" holes approx an inch and a half deep. These will hold couplers for the spokes. I did this to allow for the burst to be disassembled for storage / transportation. The couplers are inserted in the center as shown and the boards are screwed together.

That should be really cool looking!
It's amazing the things you can do with the multi-channel light controllers!

Was this ever finished, or did it run into difficulties?

never finished it. I saw I wasn't going to have it completed in time last year for the 4th, so shelved it. I may resurect it again this year for my Christmas display - stay tuned!
