Good morning, everyone...sorry about the title -- I don't have much more creativity than that this morning. One of those in which you wish that you could take a break, a nap, a dive off the cliff -- all before 9 am. Ug.

Gooood morning!
The Trans siberian Orchestra concert was amazing. Amazing light show, flame throwers, fireworks - their own unique sound and they even made it snow on us. If any of you get the chance, you really need to make it to one of their concerts!!!
Got to see The Grinch and The Santa Clause on tv this weekend. Picked out baby furniture (which my parents have decided to buy us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and worked on the kitchen yesterday. It was a pretty great weekend!

It snows at Disneyland, every night at 9:45PM. Right after the fireworks for about 10 minutes. Not enough to need a plow though Jack. Good Karma comes to good people, it will find you...

Bummer... last day at Disneyland, driving home tomorrow. It's been a great trip so far, weather could not be better. Met up with CC and her husband for lunch yesterday, genuinely nice people. Gabbed all afternoon! Lots of new ideas from lots of inspiration here, can't wait to get busy!

Okay...I was having a "it's raining, it's pouring, and i'm pi$$ed" kind of day, but now that I "elfed" myself, I am all grins and giggles! Not to mention that MIL gave me my christmas present early - I check to get some new furniture! Now I am the greatful one!

Yes, IP, isn't nice to buy stuff you like?! I only have one thing in my house that I have bought for myself, so I'm excited.

Well, I am having my side of the family over for Thanksgiving, and then my husbands for Christmass...sooo...
I will need at least two more dinning room chairs, a recliner/side chair, possibly a love seat and a chaise for a room that is totally empty. HA! I didn't get that big of a check, so I guess we'll see what good prices I can find!

We actualy went out and saw a Christmas movie today, Fred Claus. Much better than I had expected. Almost made me feel like calling my older brother.... almost.

Di ya see me in it? heh Just a background actor. In the new Batman flick it should have a pretty good shot of me walking in front of Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart. I had a blast with the film, and it was a highlight of mine when Michael Caine was by me in the lunch line.

Someday I'll get into the better roles...someday... :/

Here is a link, but this isn't really it. It is the same design, but we got two of the "sofa" part. It is actually called an "extended loveseat." And it is in a camel colored micro-sued, with scotch guard. And we got tables. Did I mention that my husband also chipped in for this, so as to keep me happy? :)

A few people around here have lights too, it always makes me happy, to see the lights. Now I just have to get mine up. The weather has been cold and damp, so haven't gotten around to it. It is supposed to be warmer Monday. It just gets dark so early, and I work til 4:30, so haven't got to it yet. Hopefully next week. Good for you mummy dearest, getting new furniture is fun!! ( I almost can remember it) Can't wait to see pics!

Well guys....I think I'm in a bit of a panic! Had my mind made up this year that all the xmas decorations would be done by Thanksgiving only because of the candy business & because we have company coming & staying for the 1st week of Dec.. Well in the last 2 weeks we have gotten really huge candy orders to do so everything is sitting & not a xmas thing has been touched other than getting some boxes in the house. I really gotta get a move on cause Thurs. I wanted to go to the parade in Charlotte.

They say its a great parade that is made up of floats & bands from both South & North Carolina. If I don't get all these candy orders out of here by Wed. I don't think I'll be goin. Wish me luck!!

Candy & Halloween go hand in hand......Think they have a sense of humor if I do a Halloween Float for the Xmas Parade!!! I have always wanted to do a float for a parade.

Got to be in a parade 2 years ago...Hubby was the Commander of his Coast Guard Flotilla group....so I got to ride in the truck that pulled the boat w/ the guys in it!! It was fun!! I like to wave to people!!

Got more orders today but they can be delivered next week....so its looking like I may be making the trip to that BIG!!!!parade in Charlotte.......I'm so excited!!
