Separated only by 1(!) vote, 2nd Prize goes to: Frosty and his Lighted Presents

3rd Prize: Putrid and his finely detailed German Santa and Sleigh

and 4th Prize goes to: TheEdwin's "Flying Crank Reindeer"

Got the snow flake frames today :) VERY NICE!!! pieces. You think these were thin frames GOD NO These things are THICK!! Very solid pieces. I was surprised when i picked up the package. I cant wait until i order some clips and start getting some lights on them :) Havent gotten anything else yet but id like to thank http://www.christmas-leds.com/ RC Creations and Carrie and winkelbottom and scareshack for supplying the prizes :)

I got my two strings of LED lights today. They look REALLY nice and I'll be putting them to good use, that's for sure! Thanks a lot to Val at Christmas-LEDs for sending them.

The snowflake frame from Christmas-LEDs.com came in yesterday. It ROCKS. Got it hanging on a dark wood door in the living room. This might end up hanging inside. It's that cool. When the candy cane blowmold comes in I'll post a pic of both.

The snowflake frame is still hanging on the front door. It's to cool. Every time I walk by it I'll lift it up a few inches. Let it bounce off the door just to hear the sound it makes. DIG that sound! Thinking about leaving it there all year.

No one did Frosty. After multiple e-mails, the sponsor never came through- nor answered my e-mails.

As organizer though, I apologize for that. Needless to say we won't be using them again!

I WILL say that as far as I know, everyone else as sponsors came through. I want to mention Christmas-LEDs.com specifically, because not only did they come though, but mailed theirs out immediately of which I am VERY grateful! Everyone who received their items has raved over the great quality!

Gregg was laid up with a severe leg problem and Carrie was organizing the PLUS so it took more time for them, but they came through too.

Scareshack was TOTALLY awesome and mailed his gift card soon after as well.

For future sponsors, I'm going to stipulate more earnestly the importance of mailing out the week after the contest ends.

But hey, I'm learning too. That was my first time. Things will be smoother with the next one. :)

Personally I enjoyed being in the contest and was happy to see a good turnout from a forum that's still growing. Looking forward to this year's as well. Hoping there's a loop hole somewhere that'll let me be a sponsor AND a contestant. That way if I win it I can afford the shipping. LOL

And I also got another Trick-or-Treat surprise on Halloween day! The mailman delivered not one, but TWO ornaments from Beka Caudill at RC Creations. She sent a note to me apologizing for taking so long to deliver them and in return was giving me two ornaments instead of one! How great is that? They are beautiful, too!
