This works for non bee's wax tapered candles.
A rubber made or Tupaware container that will allow the candles to lay flat.
Add some salt to the container. Add cold water and stir to desolve the salt.
Place tapers in and let soak for a few hours.
The other great benefit is they will last a lot longer when lit.
I was real skeptical when I first heard this. Till I tried it. LOL

Does it add a "glitter"?

No, no glitter. Doesn't change the appearance of the candles. Somehow the salt works on the paraffin wax to make it burn slower. Or give it a higher melting point. Don't really know. I know it doesn't do anything for pillar candles. Other than make the sides last longer. You end up with a deep pool of wax that will put the wick out all the time. LOL Makes keeping candle sticks and holders clean a lot easier.

I'm all for not having to clean up wax messes.

This year the Halloween gods created LED tapers in black, maybe the Christmas gods will do the same in white. They've got autotimers which turn off the 'flame' after 8 hours, then turn them back on again the same time your turned them on the day before. I bought a set at 50% off will have to see if the timers actually work. They keep cycling until the batteries die.

I would have like to have had the black LED tapers for halloween but all I could find was the tealights. I saw that Kmart has the LED tapers for christmas in a few different colors. They come 2 in a pack but they weren't priced yet. I need atleast 5 of them.

I had purchased some dollar store candles for a Halloween party candelabra and I was surprised to find at the end of the night that although they had burned almost all the way down there was no wax drippings. Where the wax goes, I have no idea, but for a $1.00 for a four-pack it wasn't bad.
